The Breast Cancer Awareness Edition of "Jazz with Tim" - Thanks to everyone who helped make this event possible, especially DJ Tim Flores.

KSPC DJ Tim Flores will be hosting a special two-hour Breast Cancer Awareness edition of "Jazz with Tim" that will be broadcast on KSPC Claremont and www.kspc.org on October 21st from 10:00am until noon. Whereas singers, standards, and straight-ahead jazz usually take center stage on Tim's two-hour show, the Breast Cancer Awareness edition will also feature interviews with and music by artists and celebrities who have been personally touched by this tragic disease as well as sound clips and testimonials from survivors. Tim will also be providing details about the various Breast Cancer Help organizations that the artists and celebrities personally support. Together, these guests, KSPC, and DJ Tim Flores hope to bring the meaning of Breast Cancer Awareness Month into listeners' homes and hearts. The broadcast is available on 88.7 FM in the San Gabriel Valley as well as online at www.kspc.org.

The Green Series

The Green Series includes a bunch of home-recorded PSA's by our very own Public Service Department Volunteer crew. Our first psa (seems like so long ago now) was "Eating Green." We've just added another, called "Traveling Green." To hear them, tune into 88.7fm (duh!)
